Favoriteplaces is an Android app that do one thing for you; it saves the location you stayed in for certain period of time locally on your smartphone or tablet. It provides various ways to display the saved favorites

• on a map
• in a list
• details

For a saved favorite, nearby places can be searched for and optionally be replaced with a such. Saved favorites can be filtered on category and on a particular date. Favorites can be shared with others using  email, facebook for example.

After the service is started, the app can be exited since favorite detection continues  to run in the background. When a favorite have been found, you will be notified.
